You need to get around PHP's File Upload Size Limit in Wordpress? This is how you do it....

  1. Using the DOIFD upload form in the Download Admin section, create a download, attach a small file that is under your PHP file size limit and is the same file type as your bigger file (.pdf, .mp3, etc), give it the name that you want and upload it.
  2. Then ftp into your site.
  3. Go to the wp-content folder, then to uploads, then to doifd_downloads.
  4. Look for the small file you just uploaded. (if you have a lot, look at the date, it will be the most recent.
  5. Make a copy of the big file you want to upload.
  6. Rename your copy to the name that is in the doifd_downloads directory, then upload the file into the directory overwriting the dummy file that is in there.
  7. Congratulations! You just out foxed PHP!
